The LPC Christian Education Committee has some exciting updates to share as we get ready for the new church school year. We’re eager to keep our friends and church family in the loop!
We’re thrilled to announce a change in our Sunday School leadership. Last year, after a conversation with Cassie Letourneau, the idea of moving class time to 9:00am took root. Cassie graciously offered to teach throughout the year if we made that adjustment, and we are delighted she has stepped into this role. We know she will be a wonderful leader for our 1st through 6th graders. Thank you, Cassie, for your commitment to our children!
Parents are encouraged to bring their children to Sunday School at 9:00am. While the kids are in class, adults are invited to join the Learning Circle or enjoy coffee and conversation in Fellowship Hall. Then, everyone comes together for Worship at 10:30am. To make worship more welcoming for children, we’ve set up an activity table in the east vestibule of the sanctuary. There, kids will find doodle boards, Rainbow Bags, coloring and activity pages, puzzles, and other engaging items designed to help them feel included and at home during worship. More exciting changes to come!
Classes will start on Sunday, October 5 with a lesson on World Communion. Join us in the youth room from 9:00-10:00am for amazing lessons from “Digging Into The Heart of God” by Group Publishing:
