In tough times, it’s vital to keep our faith in God and help others with their burdens. One of the biggest issues hitting our state right now is hunger. With over 300 food shelves in Minnesota, hunger has become a prevalent problem. There is good news, however. We, as a faith community, can share and provide food and donations to the MN FoodShare Drive. This drive is celebrating its 45th year of helping others in need and is once again asking for help. We are asking for both food and monetary donations to help fund the program and give food to those who need it most.
The Deacons of Lakeside Presbyterian Church have offered to match the first $400 raised by our congregation. Remember, food donations are wonderful, but even $10 can go a long way towards filling the food shelves. The FoodShare Drive will take place from March 1 through April 6, 2026. If you wish to donate, write MN FoodShare in the memo line of your check, donate by clicking the DONATE button at the top of the page, or drop food off in our food shelf outside of Fellowship Hall.
