February events to note

Communion and Prayer Service
Wednesday, February 8, 6:45 p.m.

This special service will be held on the second Wednesday of each month, with a focus on prayers for healing. We will also celebrate the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.

Valentine’s Serenade
Sunday, February 12, 2:00-4:00 p.m.

Join us for an old time Valentine’s Day serenade on Sunday, February 12. We, along with the LPC singing puppets, will be meeting in the church at 2:00pm to prepare to visit various care facilities. Any and all who love song are encouraged to join us for a fun afternoon.

Ash Wednesday Pancake Supper & Worship
February 22—Supper 5:00 p.m., Worship 6:30 p.m.

Pancake Supper tickets are $6/individual or $15/family
Communion will be celebrated and the imposition of ashes will be offered to those who desire to receive this special mark of the cross at the worship service.

Powerful Tools for Caregivers
Mondays, February 6-March 12, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

“Powerful Tools for Caregivers” is an educational series designed to help unpaid family caregivers take care of themselves while caring for a relative or friend. For more information or to register, contact the church office at 525-1967 or email office@lakesidepreschurch.org.

Bake Sale
Sunday, February 12, following worship
