The mission of Lakeside Presbyterian Church is to seek, with guidance from the Holy Spirit, to develop committed Disciples of Christ through a caring ministry, which nurtures spiritual growth and understanding of God’s purpose and love through worship, fellowship, celebration, giving, teaching, and learning; and which involves the congregation with others in our community and the world.
Each Sunday we meet for a worship service at 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. During the summer months (Memorial Day through Come as you are! Whether you prefer jeans and a t-shirt or your Sunday best, we welcome you and look forward to seeing you.
Each Sunday we meet for a worship service at 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. During the summer months (Memorial Day through Labor Day), the service starts at 10:00 a.m. From October through April we also worship on the second and fourth Wednesdays evenings at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall (lower level of the church). A light supper is served at 5:30, prior to the Wednesday service.
Yes. The nursery (staffed by volunteers) is available during worship and for other church events upon request.
Yes. The lower level entrance (on 45th Street) offers easy access to the elevator. After entering through the double doors, turn right at the stairway and the elevator is on your right. Hearing amplifiers and large print bulletins are also available.
We serve communion once a month, usually on the second Sunday. Anyone who believes in Jesus Christ can take part. You don’t need to be a member of the church. Baptized children are welcome to take part as well, if the parents desire.
