Our new boiler is on its way!
On behalf of the LPC Session, we are writing to share information about an exciting opportunity for you. We hope you will want to be part of the “Keep the Warm Welcome” campaign as we retire our boiler after 102 years of service and replace it with a new one. Contracts for the boiler have been signed along with contracts for related work that is needed to complete the job.
With an efficient and reliable heating source, our church building will continue to be a welcoming warm space for worship, community events, pre-school, voter polling, scouting, and other programs. The Session approved a 10-year loan repayment period of $150,000 from the Presbyterian Investment & Loan Program (PILP). The goal is to pay this off in three years.
We are ready to kick off the “Warm Welcome” campaign to meet the goal of $150,000. Will you be a spark, a flame, or a blaze? All levels of support are welcome. One-time contributions along with one, two, or three-year pledges are greatly appreciated and will help us re-pay the loan.
