Women’s Circles The four circles support our church’s mission and programs. The circles of our congregation exist to build community, affirm women’s calls to leadership, raise concerns, and channel information to and from other Presbyterian Women in the Presbytery. Each circle is a small group of women who gather to nurture their faith and growth in our Lord, to challenge one another to stretch beyond their limits, and to move beyond the safe places of life by reaching out to others. Some fundraisers include pasty sales, a flea market, and a craft & food sale. Profits are used to support several special mission causes, such as the Bethany Crisis Nursery, CHUM, Duluth Jail Chaplaincy, Union Gospel Mission, Women’s Transitional Housing, and the Damiano Center. Circles meet once each month. See the Calendar page or the Presbynews for meeting times. |

Contemporary Studies The Contemporary Studies group extends a very warm welcome to women of all ages and faiths. We meet weekly on Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:30 am in the church lounge. We follow the public school calendar, which includes snow days and vacations. As a study group, we read, discuss, explore, and share. We also enjoy the social aspects of community. |

Young Women’s Book Club Calling all young women! We have started a new book club just for you. Our purpose is to read books to raise discussion about spirituality and faith, while forming new friendships and bonds . We meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7pm on the third floor of the church. During February and March we’ll be discussing 90 minutes in Heaven: A true Story of Death and Life, by Don Piper and Cecil Murphey. Call Jill (392-2372) or Elizabeth (392-6543) if you have questions. |
