Shepherds Prayer Ministry For over 36 years LPC Shepherds Ministry has been an active part of the ministry at Lakeside. Many have been exceedingly faithful in their prayers for others. Prayers are given for people we know closely, as well as for friends of the congregation. Prayer is an important part of the lives of the members of Lakeside Presbyterian Church. The shepherds know the power of prayer and have a strong belief that prayers are answered. People who have received prayers have commented that they feel the comfort, compassion and love from God above and from those who show their concern. The Shepherds’ letter is published every two weeks. This letter is sent to the Shepherds who have committed themselves to pray for those who are listed in the letter. The Shepherds’ letter lists the names and concerns of members and friends of our church. Another part of this ministry focuses on those in immediate need of prayer and the shepherds are on call to pray if an emergency arises. You are encouraged to call the church office or Sandy with prayer requests, so that the shepherds’ telephone prayer chain may be activated. Those prayers are also printed on the Shepherds’ list. To be a partner in the Shepherds Ministry simply call the church office or Sandy. Our prayers are an important part of Lakeside Presbyterian Church’s caring ministry. Prayer is a powerful ministry! Dial Hope Each day Lakeside Presbyterian Church provides an uplifting two minute message for all who dial 218-525-4424. Dial Hope has been in existence for over thirty years and is one of the many programs run by our church Deacons. Take time daily to hear a Bible passage and a short message to brighten your day! You may leave a prayer request if desired! |

Prayer Time Every Thursday at 12:15 we will meet in the Upper Room to pray together for our Pastor, Church, members, and each other. We will end our time at 12:45. Please join us. |
