Adult Bible Study

The Sunday morning Bible Study class meets at 9:00am during the school year in the church lounge. The lessons consider the persons God chose to be covenant leaders, the invitations God offered to enter into community, the people’s responses to the invitations and the nature of God’s new covenant community. Everyone is welcome!

Out to Lunch Bunch

Wow! We are in for a real treat! You’ll have the opportunity to dine at the wonderful Swamp Sisters Restaurant.

When: Thursday, June 24
We will meet at the church at 5:00 pm and motor to the restaurant. We understand that many of you are uncomfortable driving at night. Don’t worry. Rides will be happily provide.

Friday Duffers

Golf can best be defined as an endless series of tragedies obscured by the occasional miracle. Now that the snow has melted, we’re golfing every Friday afternoon. Check with Don Uttley for more information and tee times—724-7737.

Learning Circle meets on the first and third Sundays of each month, from September through May. Join us in the library at 8:45 am. We’ve completed our study on the DVD series, Living the Questions, and look forward to another great year with new topics!

Bonnie Best and her equally wonderful sisters are once again specially opening their restaurant for our group. We had an amazing time last year when 35 of us feasted on their fantastic food. Let’s see if we can get an equally large group for this year.

Wednesday Walkers

Join friends from LPC in a journey around Lakeside. As a community we can improve our health, enjoy fellowship, and be good neighbors. Grab a bag (to pick up litter), put on your walking shoes, and meet on June 9 at 6:30 pm in the church parking lot. We will walk on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm throughout the summer.
