Adult Bible Study Class meets in the Church Lounge on Sunday mornings from September through May at 9:00 a.m. Present Word curriculum is available in the church office. Everyone is welcome! |

Learning Circle The Learning Circle studies books, articles, and current topics of interest to members. Meetings are the 1st and 2nd Sundays of each month, September through May at 9:00 am in the church library. The group is very respectful of all opinions and listens to every member. Come and bring your ideas for topics and books to discuss! |

Out to Lunch Bunch The Out to Lunch Bunch gathers together once a month for food and fellowship after church at restaurants in our area. Feel free to join us each month; all ages are welcome. Our next gathering is Sunday, September 14 @ 4:00 pm atBonnie & Al Best’s Home, 7815 Briar Lake Rd. We’ll met at church at 3:00 pm and travel together. A wonderful meal, lovingly prepared by Chef Bonnie, will be provided for $5.00 per person. Please sign up in fellowship hall by noon on September 12 in order for Bonnie to plan the event and purchase groceries. |

Friday Duffers The 2008 Duffer season is under way. The snow is gone and the grass is green. Time to clean up your clubs and join your Lakeside Presbyterian family members for a friendly round of golf. Tee times beginning between 4:00 - 4:30. Every-one with a love for the game is encouraged to join us in the pursuit of pars, birdies, eagles, and the even more elusive albatross. See you there! We will be at Enger until June 6, then we will play at Lester Park Golf Course. |

Do You Enjoy Walking?
Join us on Wednesdays at 6:30 P.M. There are several people who have shown an interest in getting together to walk as group. We encourage all who are interested to gather at the church. Our walks consist of great conversation, prayers and fellowship. There is even talk about taking care of the gifts that God has given us! For example, we could pick up litter as we walk. We may even get t-shirts or vests with our church name on them. Join us on Wednesday and share your ideas! |

New Ministry Opportunities Starting in October!
Everyone is encouraged to participate in Lakeside Presbyterian Church’s Wednesday Night Ministry, starting October 1, 2008! Ministry Opportunities are: 4:30 pm— Preschool and elementary age programs 5:30 pm—Dinner 6:00 pm—Worship 6:00 pm—Con Brio (Bell Choir) 6:30 pm—Adult and Older Youth programs 7:15 pm—Chancel Choir We are currently coordinating the leadership needs for this ministry and we will need everyone to participate. We are looking for teams to coordinate Dinners, Nursery Care, Children’s program, Older youth program, and Worship. If you are interested in being a part of this new ministry contact Sandy or a member of the Christian Education Committee. |
